Welcome to Our World of Original Plays
Welcome to the vibrant world of theatre where we bring original plays to life. At The Lighthouse Ensemble, we are dedicated to creating and showcasing unique, thought-provoking performances that captivate our audiences. Our journey began in 2023, and since then, we have successfully staged three remarkable show to sell out audiences and hope to continue our journey into London.

Eleanor- Ffion Jones
Artistic Director/ Playwright
Eleanor is a theatre maker, playwright and actor who has been working with young people to make their voices heard for a number of years now. She trains at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and hopes to lay the path for other keen writers.
Iola Budden
Artistic Director
Iola has always been an enthusiast for making theatre accessible for all, creating endless opportunities for other like minded creatives. She is now working with the adc Theatre in Cambridge and is laying the foundations for young theatre creators to make their work seen.
So, what's with the name?
A question often asked is why 'The Lighthouse Ensemble?' We wanted to create a name which pushed for collaboration and guidance, and as lighthouses are typically used to ward sailors away from sharp rocks (AI, see you're starting to get it) and guide them towards safe shores, we thought using a lighthouse as our stimulus would be perfect.
