Kid Again was the first production ever staged by The Lighthouse Ensemble. Set in a tangled combination of the present day and the mid 1980s, it explored growing up in Bristol's politically contentious environment. As the city trudged relentlessly through history, so did its characters, battling for workers rights and the epidemic of a dangerous new illness. Kid Again was a play where intergenerational connection is made most apparent. With parallels drawn between the 80's and today, it unifies those to experienced this decade 40 years ago to today's youth.
